Cannonball Coconut Shrimp. A favorite of the dread buccaneer Edwin Teach
when he terrorized the Lesser Antilles. With our homemade Rum Pot Plum Sauce.

Italian pirates who prowled the Mediterranean only 100 years ago.

Station Three - Captain Ehab’s Stationary Hors d’oeuvers

 

From the Markets of the West Indies, a display of crudités served with
cumin-spiced aioli and red pepper coulis and pirate styled dippin sauces.

Fresh hot crab dip served with sliced fresh Cuban bread
baked right here in Ybor City’s famous Le Segunda bakery.

Brie topped with aged Ammaretto soaked apricots or nuts
and dried fruits either way they were pirated off a merchantman,
which was subsequently burned to the waterline.

Assorted cheeses including cheddar, Swiss and pepper jack.
Cut into bite-size pieces with the bosu’ns own sabre. 
Served with assorted hardtack – that’s crackers for you landlubbers.

Calamari(fruit of the sea) served with tropical lime aioli.
The lime wards off scurvy, you’ll be happy to know.

Station Four
Tanker Ray’s Quesadilla Performance Station

Brie, Rainforest papaya, and sliced almond quesadilla

Buccaneer barbeque chicken with tropical mango salsa quesadilla.
Little known fact: It was pirates who invented barbeque while
trying to lure ships ashore with fake signal fires.

Bay Island shrimp, jack cheese and fresh cilantro
quesadilla with a Habanera sauce from the Yucatan Peninsula.

Station Five - Master-at-Arms Nacho Station


Tri-color chips:  Same colors as the Spanish flag, but crunchier
Warm cheese sauce straight from Wisconsin
(famous pirate country, jah, you betcha.)
Tomatoes hand-picked in Ruskin, Florida by the Head Bar Wench’s whelps.
Chopped Green Onions, tender and piquant.
Frijoles Negroes (black beans) cooked all day the Cuban way.
